In November 2024, America faced a choice: Republican or Democrat, Trump

or Harris? America, a country with a deep divide, is the subject of the photo

documentary “I’m an American”. While travelling the country in 2024 I

explored the hopes and wishes of Americans in numerous interviews. The

photographic portraits show Americans with touching humanity despite the

heightened situation. In the documentary, which is presented as a photo

book, both sides have their say and, at least symbolically, engage in

conversation.
